Deaf Middle School
Students will have access to teacher-developed, grade, course and school-specific instructional materials through distance instruction provided virtually, online or telephonically. It is our intention for all students to be engaged and have access to meaningful educational opportunities even under difficult circumstances.

Health Care Center
Karen Newton began her career at over 11 years ago. During her time at FSDB, she has taught in the Deaf Middle School, led curriculum teams, and coordinated various summer camp programs including the Expanded Core Curriculum Academy for deaf and hard of hearing students. Ms. Newton loves being in the classroom and working with students. She is excited for this opportunity to serve as the new assistant principal for the Deaf Middle School.
