Parent Engagement Workshop

The Parent Engagement Workshop presents Addressing Challenging Behaviors! The workshop will be on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Moore Hall CLD. Lunch will be provided!

FSDB President Tracie Snow will host an interactive game.

Level up! Learn about the Skyward Parent Portal, how to access grades, and how to communicate with staff.

Game On! Specialists will teach games to play that support academics at home. RSVP is required! Participants will go home with supplies to implement recommended practices.

About PEW

Parent Engagement Workshops (PEW) are learning opportunities open to ALL FSDB parents, guardians and caregivers. During PEW, we discuss current and relevant information about our school, parenting strategies, helpful resources, and much more.

Often, we partner with other departments on campus to offer additional events or classes the day before the workshop. We encourage you to consider scheduling meetings with teachers or dorm staff the day before the parent meeting.

Travel reimbursement is available for these events. Parents living more than 50 miles from campus are eligible for hotel reimbursement and mileage.
