Parent University Presents: The Real World, "Supporting our children as they transition into adulthood."

The class will be on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Moore Hall CLD.

Parents will learn how to use the IEP to prepare for the future beyond graduation:

  • Self-determination and what this means for our students.
  • Graduation requirements & assessments.
  • Student opportunities for higher education, vocational training and entering the workforce.
  • The option to defer the diploma and continue education.
  • Independent living skills.
  • Helpful resources and agency connections.

This event is open to Deaf & Blind families of students grades six and up.
