Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

is mandated by Section 413.271 Florida Statutes to serve as an advisory and coordinating body which recommends policies that address the needs of Florida’s deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened and deaf-blind (hereafter referred to collectively as “hearing loss”) community. The Coordinating Council is a resource for deaf and hard of hearing Floridians who need assistance with everyday needs including employment, education and access to services.
