Blind Elementary Music Theatre Students Perform for Local Group

Blind Elementary Music Theatre students and Limelight staff.

Seven students from the FSDB Blind Elementary Music Theatre group were asked to perform a 10-minute snippet from last year's musical Disney's Sleeping Beauty KIDS at a reception for the St. Johns Cultural Council (SCC). The February 10, 2020 event was held at the Crisp-Ellert Museum, where the performing arts group was presented an SCC State of the Arts grant award.

The Limelight Theatre applied for the grant on behalf of FSDB to assist the theatre group's spring production of Disney's Frozen KIDS. The Limelight teaching staff will help coach students during rehearsals and assist in the production, slated for May 21, 2020.
