Homecoming Weekend at FSDB will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Events include deaf alumni activities and class reunions and a deaf alumni volleyball game. The FSDB Dragons will take on the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors at 2:00 pm for what promises to be a hotly contested football game.

The Dragons are 6-0 this season, with wins against Mississippi School for the Deaf (30-0), Tennessee School for the Deaf (58-12), and Louisiana School for the Deaf (42-6). Presentation of the Deaf High School homecoming court takes place during halftime.

"Students develop lifelong friendships during their FSDB years. Alumni come together during annual Homecoming events to reconnect, share cherished memories, cheer for their alma mater and student-athletes, and plan for future gatherings. They often bring their family members and friends," said FSDB President Jeanne Glidden Prickett.

During Homecoming spirit week, Deaf High School students will take part in various activities, including a parade and a pep rally. Also scheduled are evening dance and skit nights, and coronation of the homecoming court.
