FSDB To Host Mason-Dixon Girls Volleyball Tournament


32nd Annual Mason-Dixon Girls Volleyball Tournament

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) will host the 32nd Annual Mason-Dixon Girls Volleyball Tournament on October 10-12, 2019. Eight deaf schools across the southern United States will travel to St. Augustine to take part in the annual event.

Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD)

Louisiana School for the Deaf (LSD)

Mississippi School for the Deaf (MSD)

South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB)

Tennessee School for the Deaf (TSD)

Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind (VSDB)

Teams will compete in pool play action on Friday, October 11, then will be reseeded for tournament play on Saturday, October 12. Games will begin at 9:00 am both days and will be played in Settles Gym on the FSDB campus.

The FSDB Dragons enter the tournament as the number one seed and will play against the Louisiana School for the Deaf (LSD) at 10:00 am on Friday. FSDB has won 15 championships, the most of any school in Mason-Dixon history. Ten of the titles have been under Head Coach Tiffany Kawohl, who is now in her 17th season as coach.
