Teachers observed these students face challenging situations, persevere through them, and ultimately bounce back or overcome the obstacles they encountered. Each student was nominated by their teacher for demonstrating resilience and serving as a positive example to others!

We’re building financial literacy skills at the Deaf Middle School by bringing real-world money management into the classroom! Our students can earn Dragon Dollars by demonstrating expected behaviors, then deposit their earnings, use a debit card, and check their balances at the DMS Bank.
And who better to help our students learn these important skills than our very own banker, Christian!
We’re so proud of our Dragons for learning how responsible choices, hard work, and smart money habits can pay off!
