Students in the Explorer Squad planned to go fishing today but the weather had other plans. They were not disappointed! They got to interact with these guys! Check out the size and cool colors!

Students in Brandon Call's class are exploring why scientists found fossils from the same animal on two different continents! This lab gave hands on experience with plate tectonics!

Last week we recognized students that demonstrate Citizenship & Resilience! These students were nominated by their teachers and we are so proud of them. Recognizing Resiliency! Every week students are nominated by their teachers for demonstrating our resiliency character traits. We are so proud of our students for showing resiliency and citizenship! Check out their fun rewards they can choose from!

Our Deaf Middle School students are dressed for success. As part of the class community in Ms. Bonnie's social studies class, students had to apply and interview for classroom jobs!

Teachers observed these students face challenging situations, persevere through them, and ultimately bounce back or overcome the obstacles they encountered. Each student was nominated by their teacher for demonstrating resilience and serving as a positive example to others! Go Dragons! 🐉✨🤍

Bring your Dragon Dollars, the Bank is officially open! 💰🐉 We’re building financial literacy skills at the Deaf Middle School by bringing real-world money management into the classroom! Our students can earn Dragon Dollars by demonstrating expected behaviors, then deposit their earnings, use a debit card, and check their balances at the DMS Bank. And who better to help our students learn these important skills than our very own banker, Christian! We’re so proud of our Dragons for learning how responsible choices, hard work, and smart money habits can pay off!

The Safety and Facilities team helped bring the fun for our welcome to students this morning. Our theme this year is "Under Construction: Building the Future". Students walked through a maze of cones on their way to the auditorium! Thank you Safety and Facilities!
