Zoe Wilson Named Beaver Toyota Student of the Week

Congratulations to Zoe Wilson, a senior in the Blind Department, who received recognition as Beaver Toyota's Student of the Week. She is on five athletic teams, the senior class president, a member of the FSDB Dance Troupe, and Co-Valedictorian for the Blind Department Class of 2019!


Wilson was interviewed by Kandi Lowe from Beach 105.5 FM, a local radio station in St. Augustine, for the 60-second radio spot that will air this week.

Kandi Lowe: [00:00:05] Beaver Toyota likes to acknowledge the accomplishments of students in our area. This week's Student of the Week is Zoe Wilson.


Zoe Wilson: [00:00:10] Hi my name is Zoe Wilson. I go to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. I'm in the 12th grade, and I'm 18 years old. I'm involved in five sports including goalball for the blind, soccer, swimming, cheerleading, and track and field. I am the class president and valedictorian. I help out in the athletic program and help along the side on football games for the sports medicine program. I also help with the Ponte Vedra Cheer team. I help as a Young Life leader. Post graduation I would like to attend college and major in health sciences or sports medicine. I would also like to minor in American Sign Language. My biggest accomplishment this year has been receiving the David Mathis Pursuing Victory with Honors Award. I would like to thank my coaches, teachers, and staff at FSDB!
