The 8th Annual FSDB Kids Town Comes Alive! took place on March 12, 2019. The same event will be held again for students in the Deaf Elementary School. As in previous years, Blind Apartments Administrative Assistant Michelle Wehr planned and coordinated this festive event.
Participating students and their teachers were greeted at the Welcome Table and given a brief orientation to the various activities aligned with the Superhero Town theme. Students selected colored bags to hold all the goodies they collected throughout the event.
Yearly FSDB Kids Town Comes Alive! celebrations are graciously funded by the Johnson Foundation, with the aim of bringing awareness regarding citizenship, career, and community resources to elementary students.
