About Our Services

The Mental Health Department at FSDB is committed to providing an integrated, multi-tiered system of support that meets the needs of students.

The Department is also responsible for the implementation of the mental health components as outlined in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Act. Our clinical and school psychologists, mental health counselors, clinical social workers and behavior specialists are dedicated to supporting the academic, emotional, physical and behavioral needs of FSDB students.

We work closely with academic and boarding staff members, family members and community personnel to ensure that students have the opportunity to learn, maximize their potential, become college or career ready, and achieve our vision of preparing them for a lifetime of success.

"Nothing can dim the light that shines from within."

– Maya Angelou
