Virtual ECC Summer Interactive Learning Camp

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind is excited to present our inaugural Virtual Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) Summer Interactive Learning Camp for children in 3rd through 10th grades who are deaf/hard of hearing (D/HH) or blind/visually impaired (B/VI).

Weekly lessons are focused on areas of the ECC for students who are D/HH or B/VI and their families. FSDB and non FSDB students who have an active IEP with D/HH or B/VI as their primary exceptionality are eligible to register for one or all of these exciting sessions. All registered children will receive materials delivered to their homes for participation via live conferencing and engaging online classroom activities.

These three one-week summer sessions are available at no cost for eligible Florida students ages 9-16. Families can register for a single week or all three! Each week’s lessons are themed differently and led by certified teachers with experience working with students who are D/HH or B/VI.

Space is limited and registration is required so please don’t wait to sign up!! Registration closes June 30, 2020 to allow time for shipping materials.
