Happy May!
There will be lots of fun activities, celebrations and trips this month. Encourage your children to drink plenty of water during the many outdoor events.
We’d like to recognize several special groups of people this month:
Congratulations to our graduates, students, and teachers on a wonderful academic year!

National School Nurse Day is May 6th. We would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all that our nursing staff do to keep our students healthy and safe all year long. Our nursing staff demonstrate dedication and go the extra mile for our students.
Mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, and guardians are vital to the nurturing and development of strong, capable, and thriving children. Happy Mother’s Day!
Our Healthcare Center is a wonderful resource that in addition to acute health concerns provide basic dental services, Pediatric Development Clinic, Psychiatry, Mental Health, Optometry, Low Vision Clinic, PT/OT/ST, and Audiology. Please contact your child’s care coordinator for more information regarding eligibility to use these services next school year.
We hope you all have a fantastic summer break! We look forward to seeing all of our students return in August!
May 7th is Children's Mental Health Awareness Day
May 7th is recognized as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. This month highlights the importance of of mental wellness in a child’s development, breaks stigmas, and encourages access to resources.
Children and young people in this country are experiencing an unprecedented mental health crisis; there has been a continued rise in the number diagnosed with anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions. An estimated one in five youth has a diagnosable mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder – yet many do not receive the help they need. And these mental health challenges can significantly impact their ability to learn and develop.
